If you want to learn how spatial information shapes our everyday lives, we are the place for you! Our group brings together enthusiasts of geodesy, cartography, geoinformatics, environmental engineering and Earth Sciences. Spatial data analysis, photogrammetry, remote sensing, GIS, laser scanners and drones are our bread and butter. In 2024, we are realizing two Rector’s grants: „Comparative analysis of the architecture of cities of Austro-Hungarian Empire” and „Visualization of the future- a grant for three-dimensional tourism”. We operate at the Faculty of Geo-Data Science, Geodesy, and Envirolental Engineering, but our members also include students from Faculty of Geology, Geophysics and Environmental Protection.
